Hello there, I am Hai Yen, you can also call me Umi as many of my friends do. Started 6 years ago, I am a self-taught photographer who love challenging myself with many kind of situation of light: dark, full sun, morning, afternoon, indoor, outdoor etc... So I know in which light what kind of picture I will take to archive the best results.

As many other women photographers out there, I am also a mother of 3 little monkeys, wife of a wonderful husband who always supports me in everything I do. We have been expats for years, started to move from Ho Chi Minh city to Singapore, then Singapore to Italy (Bologna), then India (Chennai), Brazil (SJDC) and now we locate in my husband's country, here is Paris, France. My work is more about recording childhood, capturing moments, framing beauty, putting them into art. I also do fine art portraiture sessions, I love turning your images into beautiful paintings for you to hang on your wall.
